Insurance & Out of Network Billing

  • Services are self-pay.

  • You are be able to utilize an HSA or FSA card. Please check with your insurance provider if therapy services are eligible.

  • SuperBill Option

    • I can provide a receipt with appropriate details for sessions that will allow you to request reimbursement from your insurance company. Please consult with your insurance provider to learn more about your Out of Network (OON) Mental or Behavioral Health benefits, as coverage can vary between insurance plans. In this process, I do not communicate with your insurance company outside of the SuperBill I provide to you.

    • For the SuperBill you must meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis, to be reimbursed.

    • The full fee will be collected from you at the time of service, you will submit the form to your insurance company, and they will reimburse you directly (if they have confirmed you are eligible for reimbursement).

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

  • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
